It’s hay season. There are acres of hay on the ground, but breakdowns and lack of help have you behind. Imagine being able to pull into the field and start raking and baling in one pass, turning round bales in less than one minute each.
The Baler-Connection attaches to H&S high capacity rakes or is available as a bolt-on kit, adaptable to most wheel-type rakes. The unit comes in 12-, 14- and 16-wheel rakes, with other sizes available by special order. The Connection comes with a baler to monitor power cable, hydraulic lines, CV-PTO shaft and hydraulic diverter. There are no special attachments needed, and it can fit any baler and tractor.
When in operation, the rake is 24 to 36 feet wide, depending on the size of rake, then closes to 8 feet when in the transport position. The rake can be widened or narrowed from the tractor while in operation, thereby making it possible to work around obstacles such as trees or in especially heavy hay with no need to take in the whole width of the swath. It tracks well behind the baler without cutting corners, and each wheel has independent suspension so it can cross rough ground without tearing the rake up.
When you purchase a Baler-Connection, we will set it up on site and show you how it operates, along with the dos and don’ts. We are also available by phone to ensure your questions are answered and you are confident in operating your Baler-Connection – as with anything new, it may take some getting used to! We want to hear about your experience with Baler-Connection! Tutorial and troubleshooting YouTube videos will be posted soon so your questions can be answered 24/7. Please let us know if there’s a specific topic you’d like to see covered.
